HerdTrack Screen Set Up and Focus

The two primary windows HerdTrack uses are Group and Animal Main.   When a window is selected, the tool bar turns blue, and that window is said to have focus.   When you type or use your mouse, the window with focus is affected.

You use the Group window to navigate through the various records in a group.  The animal selected in the Group window appears in the Animal Main window.

The Animal Main window has focus in the example below.

Focus on Animal Main Window

Notice the windows in the above   examples have been sized to fit the user's screen nicely.
In the example below, the Animal Main window covers up part of the Group window.   It is possible for one window to completely cover up another.  If this happens to you, click on the Window button at the top of your screen and you will see both the Group and Animal Main windows are there.  Click on the Group window to bring it to the front, and size it to better fit your screen.  Or choose the Cascade option and toggle between the two screens.
